Howdy, I’m Alan.
I'm an award winning photojournalist / photographer in Herriman, Utah.
I've been taking photographs for as long as I can remember. It's a passion that was handed down from my mother and her father.
I grew up in southern Ohio and earned a degree in journalism from the University of Florida. For over 23 years I worked for daily newspapers in the Midwest and Southeastern United States. I've won numerous awards from press associations on state, regional and national levels.
I love meeting people, telling their stories and capturing the moments of their lives.
I also love sunsets.
